Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Hunter, Business Development individuals to join our growing Payments Team.

This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, pitching and acquiring new merchants for our payment solutions, primarily a hunter role.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, business development, and the offline payments industry.

This is what your job scope will be...

Acquiring Merchants

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business leads through cold outreach, referrals, and networking.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demos tailored to merchant needs.
  • Pitch, negotiate, and close deals to onboard merchants onto EPOS' payment solutions.
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Account Management

  • Understand merchant pain points and provide tailored recommendations to support their business.
  • Support onboarding efforts and ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations.
  • Maintain long-term relationships to foster trust and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

Stakeholders

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across various merchant categories.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including product, onboarding, marketing, operations, and customer success to ensure merchant satisfaction.

  • You’re willing to travel locally for meetings with clients.
  • You’re enthusiastic and eager to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team.
