As a Business Development Manager for nVent SCHROFF, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across APAC region, with strong focus on Test & Measurement / Energy verticals.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with the SCHROFF regional Sales Teams as a Champion for T&M

  • As a self-starter, you will apply your expertise to build and develop targeted strategic accounts

  • Leverage and develop network with T&M/Energy OEMs, Integrators, Distributors

  • Generate promising leads and spec-in opportunities 

  • Be always aware and up-to-date with industry trends and customer needs, building pipeline in accordance with targets

  • Identify portfolio-gaps and provide directions to Product Management to close them

  • Ensure that our offering aligns to changing market requirements

  • Contribute to developing strategies and collaborate with both, regional and global team

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and playbook

  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through reports, events and presentations

  • Reporting directly to the Global Vertical Leader and within the matrix organization, strongly linked to the regional APAC-Team

YOU HAVE:

  • Educational background in either Engineering or Business Degree with strong Commercial orientation

  • Ideally 5+ experience in B2B sales, ideally within the Electronic Packaging, Electronic Cooling or Embedded Systems Infrastructure (regional or global); possibly also with a background in Advanced Physics, Semiconductor Market or Energy Sector

  • You are a strong communicator (also with broader audience), networker and a reliable teammate!

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Mandarin and English. Proficiency  in Japanese or Korean languages would represent a strong advantage.

  • Given the nature of the role, you should become comfortable with traveling often internationally.
