The Business Development Manager identifies and pursues new business opportunities, acquires customers, manages the sales cycle, and maintains strong client relationships while providing market insights.
What You Can Expect:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key market verticals and high-growth industry segments
- Acquire new customers and achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Develop and expand international trade lanes in collaboration with global offices and overseas partners
- Manage the full sales cycle, including client meetings, pipeline management, RFQs/tenders, and CRM updates
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations showcasing value-added logistics solutions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive retention and account growth
- Provide market insights on customers, industry trends, and competitors to support business strategy
- Work closely with internal teams and regional counterparts to ensure seamless service delivery
- Follow up on customer accounts, including payment collections where required
