JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Originate new business opportunities, strategize value creation both for Keppel & customer and convert opportunity to contract

  • Be proactive in scouting needs, staying abreast of technology trends and foresights, and translating these into insightful reports

  • Manage end-to-end innovation process from strategy, ideation, development to business plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage ecosystem and channel partnerships

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients in the low carbon energy sector

  • Develop new business models or transform existing ones, including organisational development, capability mapping and operating model change

  • Manage project budgets and finances

  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time

  • Support Regional markets on CaaS pursuits as part of Central team in Singapore

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Engineering, Science or technologically-related fields with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience. Master’s degree in business is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with technology trends and innovation drivers in high-side cooling systems and industry best practices will be advantageous.

  • Creative and innovation thinking with proven track record of energy transition success in securing new contracts in cooling sector.

  • Solid commercial understanding with basic financial modelling, payback period analysis, etc. crucial .

  • Passion for new technologies and technical acumen to evaluate their relevance in sustainability and energy efficiency.

  • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of cooling business and service-based business models, including best practice processes.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary lean team environment and to take initiative and deliver projects independently when required.

  • This role is based in Singapore but focuses on business development for the India market. Some overseas travel is to be expected.
