Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling Lion’s Intelligence products by identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Responsiblities include:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual subscriptions revenue targets
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline based on a targeted pursuit strategy, including contact mapping and engagement plans for each target
  • Provide accurate monthly revenue forecasting for commercial leadership
  • Meet and exceed monthly activity KPIs that support pipeline development, consistently tracked in Salesforce
  • Establish and conduct the necessary industry, institution, and client research to create tailored outreach for your territory and to support a structured and consultative approach to prospecting
  • Present the LIONS Intelligence products and services with a high degree of professionalism
  • Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of sales administration
  • Proactively identify opportunities to capitalize on developments or changes in the marketplace
  • Work with sales management to develop and write strategic sales plans, and execute stated goals and objectives
  • You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion
  • You are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced

Qualifications

  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Ability to identify, strategize and build new business opportunities
  • Persuasiveness, executive presence, and outstanding communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for LION’s content areas (marketing and advertising best practices in creativity and effectiveness)
  • A committed and effective team player
