Key Responsibilities

In this opportunity you will:

  • Specifically focus on the legal sector and your key priorities will be new business development and building increasing value within the client base to achieve overall Sales targets from a defined territory.

  • Attain these results by proactively engaging with existing customers as well as new whitespace clients and by working with our wider sales and leadership team to develop close relationships with prospects and customers to understand their business and provide them with a targeted solution.

  • Need to demonstrate strong, proactive, new business development experience, together with solution selling and consultative sales experience, including demonstrated experience managing long sales cycles.

  • Create and maintain a robust and healthy pipeline of opportunities through prospecting activity

  • Demonstrate a real passion for sales, a personal drive for success and a strong determination to achieve your objectives.

Required Qualifications

In this role of Business Development Manager, Legal, you will have:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a professional field sales or business development role selling software as a service. Prior exposure to the legal industry or knowledge is a plus.

  • Experience and interest in Generative AI

  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and strive for success

  • Strong experience in B2B enterprise sales with excellent active listening, negotiation, presentation, and consultative sales skills

  • Well versed in dealing with C-Executives

  • Customer centric approach, commercial acumen, and ability to identify opportunities to cross sell solutions 

  • Ability to partner effectively with the wider sales team including pre-sales and proposition. A team player with a positive approach

  • Good organizational and time management skills and attention to detail

  • Candidates with relevant legal domain qualifications will have an advantage
