Position Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the distributor and channel management of Samsung's Brand Memory business in the Singapore as well as Malaysia markets.

Role and Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work in close partnership with PM to drive the market share and manage brand memory portfolio to achieve the sales targets and P&L
  • Responsible for Channel management and Sales programs to drive product awareness, adoption and sell out activities
  • Develop Route to Market strategies with Distributors and Resellers and review the effectiveness of partnerships
  • Develop and Review pricing and program mechanics on monthly basis to maintain competitiveness
  • Provide sales forecast and work with SCM ops to ensure smooth delivery and accuracy
  • Coordinate with marketing team to understand opportunities to drive conduct and analyze competitive benchmarking and product comparison
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Operation, Finance, Sales and Service team to ensure smooth delivery of product sales and services
  • Assist in preparation of Business Reviews to senior management teams

Role Requirements:

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role with sales targets
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel, possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong project management skills to manage wide range of programs and stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented and meticulous. Matured individual, able to deal with stress and fast paced environment
