Our mission is to break down financial barriers and enable seamless money movement across borders. We give forward-thinking businesses the tools to accept, send, and manage payments effortlessly, wherever they operate.

We are looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to lead and expand our network of Alternative Payment Method (APM) providers globally. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new APM partners, managing the end-to-end contractual process, and supporting internal stakeholders (legal, product, compliance, and tech) to ensure alignment throughout the partnership lifecycle from initial search to potential offboarding. This is a strategic role requiring cross-functional collaboration, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of global payments, regulatory frameworks, and partner relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source new APM providers and banks to support the company’s geographic and vertical expansion goals

  • Lead the contractual process for APM partnerships, including negotiation, review, and coordination with internal teams (Legal, Product, Compliance, Finance)
  • Act as the internal liaison for APM-related queries, ensuring internal teams are supported during integration, go-live, and scaling phases
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of partner performance, technical capabilities, and roadmap alignment
  • Monitor and manage partnership health, including regular check-ins, QBRs, and SLA reviews
  • Collaborate with the Product and Tech teams to ensure APMs are properly integrated and localized
  • Work closely with Risk and Compliance to ensure APMs meet all regulatory, data protection, and KYC/AML requirements
  • Track market trends in alternative payments and feed insights into product roadmap and partner strategy
  • Ensure a structured process for partner offboarding or contract termination, minimizing disruption and maintaining reputation Search for local advisers for incorporating companies in various countries and obtaining licenses. Search for banks to open local accounts for our companies.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or payment product management, ideally in a PSP, fintech, or e-commerce platform Familiarity with local APM ecosystems in MENA, APAC regions Proven track record of negotiating and managing B2B contracts and building scalable partner relationships
  • Strong understanding of the global payments ecosystem, with a focus on alternative payment methods, wallets, local rails, etc. Understanding of regulatory compliance in payments (PSD2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, AML)
  • Experience supporting internal processes for onboarding, integration, and regulatory evaluation of third-party providers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills able to work cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Tech, Risk, and Finance teams
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset able to evaluate partner value, ROI, and risk trade-offs
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, cross-cultural environment
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and contract management platforms is a plus

We offer:
