The Business Development Executive will support the Senior Business Development Manager in driving business growth across the region, including pitching to potential clients and partners, and assisting with the execution of weekly events across both online and offline channels.
WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH...
- Proactively identify and follow up on new business opportunities to achieve international sales targets and support the company’s strategic plan
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential brand partner, and opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
- Support the development and maintenance of a pipeline of potential business leads, using industry contacts, online research, and networking.
- Assist in developing and executing data-driven business plans for weekly events, ensuring optimization of stock lists and sales performance across both offline and online channels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing day-to-day communication. Proactively follow up with brands to provide necessary information and updates.
- Coordinate and following up with brands with regards to agreements in a professional manner
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, ecommerce, etc to ensure seamless event execution.
- Responsible for sales recap, and any other type of reports that include event outcome, feedback, recommendation etc to improve for future collaboration and ensuring continuous improvement in client satisfaction.
- Any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
WHAT IT TAKES…
- Min Diploma holder in Marketing, Business or equivalent
- 2 years of working experience is preferred
- Experience in Fashion / Cosmetics / FMCG / Department Store would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the Retail industry, ideally with retail network
- Excellent negotiation skills and eager to deliver results
- Target driven and figure-oriented
- Strategic thinking and enthusiastic problem solver, autonomous
- Must be a self-starter, organized, clear communication and good teamwork mindset
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
