Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data management standards and frameworks that enable data usage and mitigate associated risks across the end-to-end data lifecycle.

• Create playbooks and learning materials to guide business and support units in implementing these data management standards and practices, in areas such as data ownership, data quality, metadata and lineage.

• Validate the implementation of data management standards by business and support units.

• Collaborate with business, data and technical teams to industrialise data management practices and tooling.

• Facilitate and execute bank-wide data management processes.

• Engage stakeholders across business and technology units to foster a strong data risk management mindset and provide guidance on data governance practices.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or data science.

• 8 to 10 years of experience in data management, data governance, risk management or regulatory compliance.

• Deep expertise in enterprise data management frameworks, operating models, and controls.

• Ability to design, implement, and monitor data management standards, covering areas such as data quality, data issue management, metadata and data lineage. 

• Strong understanding of data regulations, risk management, and compliance obligations.

• Experience with enterprise data governance tooling and metrics.

• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities across business and technology.

• Ability to drive mindset change towards data accountability and literacy.

• Ability to challenge constructively and enforce data management outcomes.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
