Job Description

The Value Measurement Office is the central governance and coordination function responsible for ensuring that the Bank’s economic value generated from AI models, data assets, and digital capabilities is measured, attributed, validated, and reported in a consistent and defensible manner.

This role is responsible for operationalizing enterprise value measurement framework, ensuring that AI & Data investments are measured using standardized, auditable, and regulator‑aligned methodologies, with clear business and finance sign‑off. The role partners closely with Business Units, Group Finance, Risk, and Technology teams to drive credible, decision‑useful value reporting internally for senior management and externally as required.

  • Enterprise Value Measurement & Attribution
  • Operationalize the enterprise value measurement framework across AI & Data use cases.
  • Support Business Units in documentation which includes defining value charters, mapping value and identifying measurable financial benefits.
  • Guide Business Units in the selection of appropriate measurement techniques to estimate economic value in a defensible and repeatable manner.
  • Review and approve the intake of Use-case Charters, assessing the quality of problem statements, experiment set ups, and KPI selection against the Value Measurement Framework
  • Verification of source data and inputs, and the conduct of the value measurement to ensure that value uplift can be substantiated
  • Validation & Governance
  • Partner with Business and Group Finance teams to validate assumptions, baselines, attribution logic, and results.
  • Support the application of confidence ratings based on data quality, controls, and repeatability of measurement.
  • Independently validate outputs, variables, and attribution logic; conduct sample-based stress testing on data inputs to confirm that measurement and attribution methodology has been executed satisfactorily
  • Administer and verify allocation logic for use-case value, and formally accept validated submissions as confirmed value
  • Mediate attribution disputes between Business Units, facilitating resolution fairly and transparently
  • Enterprise Value Reporting & Insights
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communications with business partners throughout the reporting cycle, ensuring alignment and timely delivery
  • Consolidate and maintain an enterprise view of AI & Data value, enabling consistent reporting at portfolio and Group levels.
  • Support senior management and Board reporting by translating detailed value calculations into clear, decision‑relevant insights.
  • Ensure value reporting aligns with internal policies and evolving regulatory expectations on AI transparency and accountability.
  • Framework Adoption & Continuous Improvement
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the enterprise value measurement framework, providing guidance, and enablement to Business and Support Units who are model owners.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce operational burden of value measurement and reporting, and improve consistency of measurement across domains.
  • Contribute to the evolution and modernization of the enterprise value measurement methodologies to be the universal value measurement tool  by the Bank.
  • Innovation and Transformation
  • Stay informed on emerging innovation trends, practices, and tools, and support the team with research and insights.
  • Assist in identifying and supporting the integration of innovative ideas and solutions that contribute to organizational growth and capability building.
  • Support end to end project delivery, including innovation programs, capability enablement activities, partnerships, and strategic pilots.
  • Help develop and maintain project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
  • Track project progress, support coordination across stakeholders, and assist in monitoring delivery against agreed outcomes and KPIs.
  • Prepare project documentation, updates, and presentation materials to support governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • 6 to 8 years of banking or financial industry experience; experience in value realization, financial reporting, performance management
  • Prior experience in banking or management consulting is a plus, particularly in roles involving business case development, value tracking, or program governance
  • Working knowledge of experimental design principles (e.g. A/B testing, control/treatment frameworks)
  • Familiarity with data pipelines/platforms or data architecture is a plus
  • Effective communicator with experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership or committee-level audiences
  • Ability to manage time-bound reporting cycles and navigate competing priorities across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
