How it works
We are looking for a curious, adaptable, and forward-thinking Data Scientist to join our Internal Audit (IA) data science team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Computer Science or Information Technology, and a strong interest in data science, machine learning engineering, and emerging AI technologies.
While prior experience is valued, we welcome candidates who demonstrate genuine passion, a growth mindset, and the ability to learn quickly. You will help build advanced analytics solutions and contribute to the development of agentic GenAI applications that support audit and assurance functions
What you do
Develop data-driven solutions to support risk assessment, audit planning, execution, and reporting.
Prototype machine learning models with a view to future deployment in production environments.
Design front-end and endpoint systems for GenAI applications tailored to audit use cases.
Work with diverse data types including structured data, images, video, and voice.
Build scalable pipelines and reusable components for analytics and model deployment.
Document methodologies and ensure transparency and governance in model development.
Reporting to: Head of Data Science, Internal Audit
Who you are
We’re looking for candidates with a mix of the following skills. You don’t need to have all of them—a strong foundation and willingness to learn is just as important:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience or strong interest in data science and machine learning engineering.
Proficiency or experience in using DevOps tools such as Git for version control and Jira for project management
Exposure to multimodal data (e.g., image, video, voice) and relevant processing techniques.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Interest or experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI technologies.
Familiarity with LangChain for building LLM-powered applications and LangGraph for orchestrating multi-agent workflows is a plus.
Ability to design and build user-facing systems and APIs for AI/ML applications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Attributes:

Experience in regulated environments or financial services is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
