POSITION OVERVIEW:

Join us as an AV Engineer, where you'll leverage your expertise in audio-visual technologies and collaboration platforms to design and implement the next generation of application and infrastructure solutions for our global organization. We are looking for a skilled AV Engineer to become a key part of our innovative team. This role involves driving the success of AV projects, deivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for collaboration technologies, and spearheading pilot initiatives in a fast-paced corporate environment. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Lead the design, deployment, and commissioning of capital AV projects within APAC, ensuring they adhere to high-quality standards and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to ensure AV initiatives align with strategic objectives.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for AV systems and workflows, ensuring accessibility and transparency for all stakeholders.
  • Deliver training and guidance to users, empowering them to effectively utilize AV technologies.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for video conferencing and collaboration platforms, working closely with the operations team to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Support a range of collaboration tools, including Microsoft Copilot and emerging AI-driven technologies, to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead Technology pilot programs to evaluate and assess new AV solutions, focusing on their usability, scalability, and impact on the user experience.
  • Offer detailed insights and actionable recommendations based on pilot program findings. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial AV gained from a corporate environment
  • Experience in AV technology design for new and space enhancement projects
  • Experience in deployment of digital virtual solutions such as One-drive, whiteboarding, and products in the Microsoft suite
  • Proven track record in initiating & leading different experimental pilot projects to identify the best available solutions
  • Experience in global deployments of AV systems and technologies
  • Experience in IPTV and Digital Signage solutions, lifecycle management and advanced configuration
  • Good understanding of today’s AV technology and trend in the market
  • Implementation experience within conference spaces, training facilities, event spaces and more
  • Advanced knowledge of video conference tools and troubleshooting (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
  • Audio DSP, video processing, control system platform proficiency (i.e. Biamp, Q-Sys, Extron, Crestron)
  • Experience with remote management of AV vendors
  • Strong communication and reporting skills - to collaborate and network effectively with diverse audience
  • Ability to be flexible, and to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • A solid understanding of virtual event-based software solutions
  • Experience with technology lifecycle planning
  • Experience with the creation of “How-to” documentation
