Job Description GI Specialist:

As a General Insurance (GI) Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert to share the importance of protective insurance and sound financial planning to customers through phone; and recommending suitable policies to address the needs of the individuals and their families. Through effective communication skills, persuasive techniques, and a genuine passion for our products, you will identify business opportunities, engage potential clients, and close deals over the phone. Your ability to meet and exceed sales targets will directly impact our company's success, making you an integral part of our thriving team.

  • Introduce Income products and services by calling to prospects from a provided lead list and via incoming calls, to effectively articulate their value propositions.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to contribute to the company's revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to optimize customer experience, streamline processes, and enhance overall sales strategies.

Job Qualifications

  • Diploma in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Mandatory certification in CGI (BCP & PGI) 
  • Previous experience in telesales, inside sales, or a similar role, preferably in the banking/financial sector.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills, with the ability to handle objections effectively and close deals.
  • Results-oriented mindset, driven by a desire to succeed and contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of calls effectively.
  • Proficiency in using sales software to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and a willingness to learn about new products and industry developments.
