Job Description Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, for a full-time role. As an Associate Director, you will be actively involved in all aspects of leading and delivering Portfolio & Location Strategy services to clients, from business development, proposal development through to managing projects and final deliverables. You will also play a leading role in broader business development, research and events. This is an opportunity to develop a thriving career within global real estate advisory firm with opportunities to work internationally.
The role’s technical focus is to drive all aspects of strategic portfolio management, including helping clients optimising existing business portfolios and identifying hidden opportunities to improve efficiencies within their real estate model, as well as all aspects of business location strategy including helping clients to identify the most favourable location (city) for a new or relocating business operation.

Job Description

About the role:

  • Strong track record in business development and leading client projects
  • Commercially astute with the ability to think strategically and creatively to address client challenges through real estate portfolio strategy
  • Advanced data analysis skills, able to extract insights and present them clearly, visually, and concisely
  • Excellent communication skills across presentations, writing, and visual storytelling (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, social media)
  • Confident thought leader, contributing to research, insights, and innovation across service lines
  • Lead proposals, service descriptions, and fee modelling, with minimal partner oversight on large-scale pitches
  • Support and present alongside Partners in senior-level client meetings, workshops, and presentations
  • Manage medium to large-scale projects, overseeing commercial performance, quality, client relationships, and growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with account leads and global teams to deliver Portfolio & Location Strategy projects across regions
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and effective in managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Actively build external networks, raise market profile, and stay current on industry trends
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions for global clients

About you:

  • 6+ years industry experience on strategic real estate portfolio management, including real estate portfolios optimisation, transformation, metro strategies and location strategy
  • Experience in the management consulting industry or in a consulting role
  • First degree and/or post graduate degree in relevant subject (this could include, but not limited to Real Estate, Economics, Geography, Regional Planning, Finance, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of real estate market trends, and English language fluency
  • Member of the RICS not essential but would be a benefit
