Job Description

Business & Analytical Skills

  • Engage stakeholders to elicit requirements and design workflow-driven solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions
  • Align technical delivery with organizational risk, compliance, and governance objectives
  • Deliver insights through data analysis, reporting, and capacity forecasting
  • Ensure systems meet security, regulatory, and operational standards
  • Support and enhance SAI360 GRC platform, a web-based enterprise system hosted on Apache Tomcat (Windows Server)
  • Act as the bridge between vendor release practices and internal change management processes, ensuring compliant and smooth deployments
  • Perform and orchestrate end-to-end solution delivery: feasibility analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support

Product & Domain Expertise

  • Manage multiple GRC (Goveranace, Risk and Compliance) subject areas, including:
    • Incident reporting
    • Management risk awareness
    • Key Operational Risk Indicators monitoring
    • Key Risk & Control Self-Assessment (KRCSA)
    • Third-party / outsourcing risk assessments
    • Product programme management
    • Audit planning and execution
    • Compliance issues and fraud management
    • Business continuity management
    • Action plan management
  • Design and deliver modular UI solutions supporting business process workflows across these domains
  • Analyze vendor release notes and security advisories, aligning upgrades with enterprise risk and compliance needs
  • Carry out application and platform administration including installation, authentication/authorization setup, system configuration, web server configuration, application deployment, SSL certificate renewal, etc.

Technical Competencies

  • Develop and maintain web-based UIs using Vue.js within a vendor-proprietary development framework
  • Configure data models and BPMN-based workflow designs in SAI360 GRC
  • Write and optimize SQL (MSSQL):
    • Query design and tuning
    • Execution plan analysis
    • Database administration (backup/restore, security best practices)
  • Design and deliver enterprise reports using SAP BI
  • Perform performance tuning across application and reporting layers
  • Develop batch and shell scripts for automation, data integration, and ETL processes
  • Manage secure file transfers using SSH/SFTP and other automation jobs using an enterprise scheduler
  • Provide inputs for compute and storage capacity planning using usage data and system metrics

Operational & Platform Responsibilities

  • Support application infrastructure on Windows Server, ensuring system stability and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, implementing both short-term fixes and long-term solutions
  • Conduct low-level performance diagnostics across application, database, and reporting layers
  • Oversee application upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and risk-controlled deployment

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of 4-5 developers
  • Define and enforce development standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business users, infrastructure, security, vendor teams)
  • Track and manage change requests, ensuring alignment with governance and delivery timelines

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in system analysis or business analysis within the financial services industry, preferably in banking.
  • Proven experience in leading and delivering complex IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in designing and documenting technical solutions using various methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and data modeling.
  •  Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and application servers.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., CBAP, ITIL) are a plus.
