Job Description
We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Country and Credit Risk Management Division within Group Risk Management, supporting the Bank’s regulatory reporting and financial risk disclosures.
The role is part of the Basel team, which works closely with Finance and Business Unit stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance with MAS 637 Notice requirements as well as accurate and timely submissions to regulators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and analyse data for regulatory reporting and financial risk disclosures, including Basel regulatory requirements under MAS Notice 637 (Pillar 1 and Pillar 3).
- Perform regular monitoring of regulatory thresholds
- Partner closely with Finance and Business stakeholders to clarify regulatory requirements and ensure consistency across regulatory and financial risk disclosures.
- Support the preparation of management risk reports and disclosures, ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to regulatory and internal submission timelines.
- Support rating committee processes
- Support processes under risk data aggregation and risk reporting framework
- Participate in regulatory or reporting/system change initiatives, including user testing
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives to strengthen reporting efficiency, controls, and sustainability.
- Support ad-hoc credit risk–related assignments and projects as required.
Required Characteristics & Skills

•Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably in a time‑sensitive regulatory environment.
•Clear and effective communicator, with strong written and spoken English.
•Comfortable to operate in an environment where consistency and control are critical.
Technical Skills
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in Basel reporting (preferred), credit risk, or regulatory reporting roles.
•Sound understanding of Basel III regulatory requirements; hands‑on experience with MAS Notice 637 Pillar 1 and/or Pillar 3 reporting preferred.
•Able to document processes, assumptions and controls clearly to support knowledge transfer and operational resilience.
•Experience with risk or regulatory reporting systems is an advantage; strong ability to learn new systems quickly.
•Programming skills (e.g. SAS, SQL, MBI) and/or experience with Basel systems (e.g. Moody’s RiskAuthority) are advantageous.
Education Qualification
•Good Degree in Finance, Banking, Financial Engineering, or related disciplines
