JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage databases and conduct data analysis to support segment-level studies, monthly performance reporting, and ongoing monitoring. Develop and maintain comprehensive segment performance reports.
  • Provide analytical support to business units by evaluating customer behaviour trends, identifying shifts, and recommending actionable strategies for business improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement upselling and cross-selling strategies using data-driven insights and modelling techniques.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to address emerging business needs and support decision-making.
  • Work closely with IT and other relevant departments to source, validate, and consolidate data required for analysis.
  • Support sales planning and budgeting processes through data insights and forecasting.
  • Develop dashboards and drive automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong analytical capability with keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
  • Expertise in complex Excel functions and data manipulation
  • Hands-on experience with data mining and analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, Microsoft Access, and advanced spreadsheet applications. Experience in propensity modelling is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in data processing, including data mining, data mapping, and data modelling.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with SAP and CRM systems will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Competent in report writing and delivering presentations.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities, strong multitasking abilities, and a high sense of urgency.
