Dyson's Southeast Asia business is managed out of our Singapore office. The team provides the vision and strategy to Dyson’s business in SEA, covering key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
Role Overview
At Dyson, we don’t follow convention — we engineer new ones. As Assistant Training Manager, SEA, you will lead Dyson’s learning experience across Southeast Asia, driving capability, consistency, and inspiration among retail experts and stylists. You will also serve as a mentor to team members.
This role blends technical mastery and creative education. You’ll design frameworks that strengthen our categories, coach trainers and markets, and bring operational discipline to every aspect of learning delivery. It’s a role for someone who inspires confidence, sets standards, and turns knowledge into real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Design & Delivery
Design and deliver impactful training sessions—virtual, in-store, and classroom—for Dyson Experts, retail partners, and stylists.
Lead certification and coaching programs, ensuring consistent mastery of Dyson technology and storytelling.
Identify capability gaps and create training that reflects SEA retail realities and shopper behaviors.
Champion innovative formats such as livestream demos and interactive digital content to keep learning engaging.
Conduct post-training evaluations, audits, and coaching to reinforce performance.
2. Category Ownership
Lead the education framework across categories (Floor Care, Environmental Care and any new categories) across SEA.
Develop and refresh category modules and demo tools to elevate customer engagement and conversion.
Partner with Marketing and Retail teams to align learning with new launches, campaigns, and retail strategies.
3. Regional Support & Alignment
Collaborate with market trainers, Retail, and Business Development teams to ensure unified regional standards.
Support launches, PR/media activations, and retailer training events as Dyson’s expert representative.
Track regional learning performance — certification rates, demo conversion, and learner feedback.
Work closely with the Beauty Trainer to ensure cohesive regional education delivery.
4. Content & Governance
Develop SEA-specific training materials, guides, and video resources that are practical, clear, and relevant to the target audience.
Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting, and equipment readiness across all markets.
Gather field insights and competitive feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation in training.
Success Metrics
High training and certification completion across SEA markets.
Measurable uplift in demo quality and customer conversion.
Consistent and timely reporting with actionable insights.
Positive feedback from trainers, experts, and retail partners.
Visible innovation in learning tools or delivery methods.

Skills & Experience
4–6 years’ experience in training or education within consumer, technology, or retail industries.
Skilled in designing and facilitating both classroom and virtual learning (Teams, Zoom, LMS).
Strong coaching, operational, and reporting discipline.
Proven ability to link training outcomes to commercial results.
Regional experience (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines) preferred.
Diploma or degree in a relevant field preferred.
Fluent in English; a second SEA language is an advantage.
