Manulife Product Development is seeking for a self-motivated experience professional in support to the Head/ Team Lead of Product Development on the development and implementation of customer-centric insurance solutions.

We are looking for someone with:  

  • Positive attitude and an excellent team player.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (experience in the Hight Net Worth (HNW) segment is an added advantage).
  • Knowledge of basic insurance product pricing principles and financial metrics (actuarial background is an added advantage).
  • Experience in working with multi-channel distribution and multiple product lines.
  • Good project management, problem solving and communication skills to drive for effective outcome to meet the challenging timeline.

Nice to Haves:   

  • University degree - Marketing, Business or Financial

  

On the job you will:  

  

  • Support and driving the end-to-end Product Development/Management of product initiatives such as:
    • Supporting the product roadmap and key stories for the respective product line;
    • Developing customer centric insurance solutions by involving our customers, our distribution partners and other stakeholders in our product development process;
    • Development, implementation and on-going management of our product initiatives and other enhancements that align with our business directions including; detailed product specifications, user and business requirements and output testing;
  • Support compilation of external and internal product information for product development and assist team lead in delivering effective product positioning and proposition.
  • Assist team lead to meet deliverables required by the project managers and other departments as well as external service providers to ensure our product initiatives and related supports are delivered effectively and meet our customer and stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Collaborate with other teams on cross functional initiatives.
