Position Summary
We’re on the hunt for a social-savvy storyteller and digital native to lead the charge on content and social at Samsung Singapore. If you live and breathe memes, Reels, trending sounds, and scroll-stopping content and you also know how to connect it all back to brand and business you might be exactly who we’re looking for.This role is equal parts strategist, creative thinker, and relationship builder. You’ll work closely with our marketing squad, agencies, creators, and opinion leaders to shape culturally relevant, insight-led campaigns that spark conversations and deliver results. From the first spark of an idea to the final post going live, you’ll bring bold thinking, seamless execution, and local relevance to every piece of content we put out.

Role and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Social Leadership
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of how social contributes to Samsung’s wider brand, digital, and business ecosystem.
- Set clear strategic direction for social media to deliver on key objectives including brand affinity, engagement, and traffic to conversion.
- Define, drive, and evolve the always-on and campaign social calendar in alignment with the broader marketing roadmap.
2. Integrated Campaign Development
- Collaborate closely with brand and communication strategists, creative teams, KOL managers, and media agencies to deliver unified, channel-native campaigns.
- Act as the key liaison for content and social briefs, ensuring execution aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and campaign objectives.
3. Agency & Partner Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for social, content, and KOL agencies driving alignment, cadence, and performance.
- Build collaborative relationships with platform and media partners (Meta, Google, TikTok, Spotify, etc.) to unlock co-branded opportunities and innovation.
4. Performance & Optimisation
- Track and report on key performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.), delivering actionable insights to optimize content and paid strategy.
- Partner with the CDM (Customer Data Management) team to leverage segmentation for targeted messaging and personalization.
- Constantly evaluate campaign outcomes and propose improvements based on data and market insights.
5. Creative Innovation & Trendspotting
- Champion a culture of creativity and experimentation — bringing forward emerging trends, formats, and culturally relevant ideas.
- Continuously refresh content approach to reflect social-first thinking, audience behaviours, and platform developments.
6. Collaboration & Cross-functional Alignment
- Work cross-functionally with eCommerce, CRM, retail, PR, and regional stakeholders to ensure cohesive narratives and seamless execution.
- Support content and social strategies that drive online traffic, elevate customer experience, and amplify integrated marketing efforts.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in social media strategy and execution, ideally in tech, lifestyle, or fast-moving consumer categories.
- Strong business acumen with a data-driven mindset; capable of translating insights into action.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record in managing agencies and influencing partners.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Passionate about social media, digital culture, and content innovation.
