Job DescriptionAs a member of the Engineering department, this role is responsible for ensuring that all the engineering and maintenance activities of the resort are conducted to the highest professional standards at all times, with guest comfort and safety being the highest priority. You will manage the Engineering department, ensuring the efficient running of the all hotel facilities, including all fire and life safety equipment and systems. It will be your responsibility to plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations. You will be involved in preparing the Engineering budget for the property alongside the guidance of the Director of Engineering, and will provide the Engineering knowledge for the hotel strategic and operational plans. You will monitor energy usage in the hotel, and implement initiatives to conserve energy wherever possible.
Qualifications- At least Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- At least 3 - 5 year operating experience in a similar capacity/ Engineering Department Management
- Strong result oriented, people management, and leadership skills
- Familiar with local government requirements and regulations
- Strong in English, communication skill, and computer literate
- Strong in analytical, problem solving skills, and execution of work
