Marex Prime Services is a full-service institutional prime brokerage platform providing hedge funds with a comprehensive suite of solutions, including execution, financing, securities lending, outsourced trading, middle and back-office support, business consulting and capital introduction. Leveraging Marex's global footprint, institutional infrastructure and highly personalized service model, Prime Services supports managers throughout their lifecycle, from launch and growth through to mature fund operations.

Role Summary

The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with institutional allocators across Southeast Asia, understanding investor mandates and facilitating high-quality introductions between allocators and hedge fund managers. The successful candidate will operate independently, represent Marex externally and contribute to the continued growth of the firm's Capital Introduction platform in the region.

Overall Responsibilities

Capital Introduction & Relationship Management

• Expand Marex's allocator network across Southeast Asia. Originate, develop and maintain relationships with institutional allocators, family offices and consultants.
• Identify and facilitate relevant introductions between allocators and managers based on investment objectives, strategies and areas of interest.
• Develop a deep understanding of allocator mandates, investment preferences and emerging trends across the alternatives landscape.
• Provide global managers with market intelligence and allocator feedback to help inform their investor engagement efforts.

Business Development

• Partner closely with Sales to support client engagement initiatives and strengthen strategic relationships.
• Represent Marex at industry conferences, investor events and networking initiatives.
• Contribute to the growth and visibility of Marex's Capital Introduction platform across Southeast Asia.
  

Ownership & Collaboration

• Operate independently, managing a portfolio of allocator and manager relationships across Southeast Asia.
• Collaborate with the global Capital Introduction team to ensure coordinated coverage and sharing of market intelligence across regions.
• Proactively identify new relationship opportunities and emerging areas of investor interest.

• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

• To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
• To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
• To escalate risk events immediately.
• To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

• 7+ years of experience within Capital Introduction, Investor Relations, Asset Allocation or relevant field.
• Existing network of allocators, fund of funds, pensions, sovereigns, family offices and investment consultants in Southeast Asia preferred.
• Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level external relationships.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
