Are you ready to lead HR regulatory initiatives in the APAC region? As a Vice President in our APAC HR Regulatory Affairs team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the HR regulatory landscape across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with global colleagues and drive initiatives that enhance our firm's compliance and governance.
As a Vice President in the APAC HR Regulatory Affairs team, you will oversee HR regulatory correspondence and initiatives in the APAC region. You will partner with key stakeholders on governance and regulatory exams, providing regional perspectives while considering local nuances and global approaches. Your work will be vital in aligning practices and integrating global initiatives, enhancing workflows and partnerships with stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop deep knowledge and maintain awareness of current HR regulatory landscape, practices, and trends; and keep key HR stakeholders informed of material HR regulatory developments.
  • Advise country HR teams and Centers of Excellence (COEs) on HR regulatory matters
  • Interpret and evaluate the impact of regulatory changes on HR policies and practices.
  • Drive and manage HR regulatory projects by partnering with internal HR stakeholders and control partners
  • Act as the clearing house for HR regulatory submissions and correspondence with regulators.
  • Participate in and contribute to governance-related forums.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to align and enhance workflows to achieve consistencies and efficiencies (leveraging AI as necessary)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in HR, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Controls or Risk in large multinational companies.
  • Experience in a large-scale, global, and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage HR projects, multitasking and prioritizing initiatives.
  • Commitment to quality and timeliness of work deliverables under tight timelines.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues or escalate when necessary.
  • Strong stakeholder management with sound judgment abilities and ability to influence change and decision making.
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Certification from Singapore's Institute of Human Resource Professionals is advantageous.
