We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Data Analysis (FP&DA) team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing, cleaning, and collating data relating to development projects, investment performance, capital raising activities, and operational effectiveness. This data will feed into high-quality reports and dashboards for the Board, senior management, and external stakeholders, with the FP&DA team as ‘owners’ of this data.

This job offers exposure to a wide range of operations and the opportunity to turn raw data into actionable insights and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Collation
    • Gather data from internal teams (development, investments, operations, finance) and external sources
    • Maintain organised data repositories for ongoing analysis and reporting
  • Data Cleaning & Quality Control
    • Validate and reconcile datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
    • Identify data gaps, anomalies, and inconsistencies; work with relevant teams to resolve them
  • Data Analysis & Insights
    • Perform basic to intermediate data analysis to support financial modelling and performance tracking
    • Summarise findings into clear visuals, tables, and dashboards for reporting purposes
    • Assist in developing KPIs to measure project performance and operational effectiveness
  • Forecasting
    • Utilising and extrapolating the data to prepare budget and forecasts
  • Reporting Support
    • Prepare data inputs for management and board reporting packs
    • Prepare presentations and summary reports for senior stakeholders and investors
    • Support the FP&DA team in ad-hoc analysis and scenario modelling
  • Process Improvement
    • Recommend and implement improvements in data capture, storage, and reporting processes
    • Support automation initiatives to improve data efficiency

Requirements
  • Minimally 2-4 years of work experience in funds management, finance, analytics, or real estate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in systems (EPM)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, data formatting)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, or similar)
  • Understanding of financial statements and investment concepts
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to data cleaning and validation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills to work with different departments and stakeholders
