The Analyst will support the FP&DA team through data collection, cleaning, analysis, forecasting, reporting, and process improvements related to financial performance and operations.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Data Analysis (FP&DA) team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing, cleaning, and collating data relating to development projects, investment performance, capital raising activities, and operational effectiveness. This data will feed into high-quality reports and dashboards for the Board, senior management, and external stakeholders, with the FP&DA team as ‘owners’ of this data.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Collation
- Gather data from internal teams (development, investments, operations, finance) and external sources
- Maintain organised data repositories for ongoing analysis and reporting
- Data Cleaning & Quality Control
- Validate and reconcile datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Identify data gaps, anomalies, and inconsistencies; work with relevant teams to resolve them
- Data Analysis & Insights
- Perform basic to intermediate data analysis to support financial modelling and performance tracking
- Summarise findings into clear visuals, tables, and dashboards for reporting purposes
- Assist in developing KPIs to measure project performance and operational effectiveness
- Forecasting
- Utilising and extrapolating the data to prepare budget and forecasts
- Reporting Support
- Prepare data inputs for management and board reporting packs
- Prepare presentations and summary reports for senior stakeholders and investors
- Support the FP&DA team in ad-hoc analysis and scenario modelling
- Process Improvement
- Recommend and implement improvements in data capture, storage, and reporting processes
- Support automation initiatives to improve data efficiency
Requirements
- Minimally 2-4 years of work experience in funds management, finance, analytics, or real estate
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong proficiency in systems (EPM)
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, data formatting)
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, or similar)
- Understanding of financial statements and investment concepts
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to data cleaning and validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to work with different departments and stakeholders
