Job Responsibilities:

Purpose of the role

  • The primary responsibility is to prepare monthly management reports for the head office and internal stakeholders in Singapore.

  • Periodic and ad-hoc books closing tasks/ operation and reporting on JGAAP/ USGAAP

Strategic

  • Enhance and streamline reporting processes to meet new requirements.

  • Assist Team Leader in performing analyses and tests for global and local projects.                                           

Financial

  • Produce monthly management reports to the Head Office.

  • Produce customer database and various reports for internal clients in Singapore.

  • Upload adjustments to the management information system (MIS) to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

  • Analyse and verify the P&L figures for the monthly FX sell-off operation.

  • Assist Team Leader in preparing presentation materials for the monthly executive committee

Customer

  • Ensure timely delivery of monthly deliverables to various stakeholders.

  • Respond to queries from internal clients to resolve various issues related to management reporting

People

  • Support other team members of Financial Accounting Department in completing various monthly and ad hoc tasks

Other/Control

  • Data analysis and reconciliation (data retrieval, verification of consistency, etc.).

  • Supporting other team member in FAD

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of managerial accounting experience in financial institutions (Analyst) or Minimum 5 years of managerial accounting experience in financial institutions (AVP)

  • Proficient in Excel including VBA, pivot table and VLOOKUP

  • Degree qualified

  • Understanding of database concept, knowledge on accounting and banking business            

  • Detail-oriented

  • Team player

  • Willingness to learn new things

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong communication skills
