Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including accruals, reconciliations, system runs, SOP maintenance, reporting, variance analysis, and internal controls. Review junior staff work, validate journal entries, identify operational risks, and provide guidance. Participate in AI, RPA, and automation initiatives to improve workflows and collaborate with technical teams on solution implementation.
Job Description
1. Core Operational Functions
- Oversee day-to-day end-to-end processing for ePAC and Prime operational activities
- Execute and monitor monthly accruals, reconciliations, and system runs across systems
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational workflows
2. Reporting & Managerial Support
- Assist the Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial and operational reports
- Perform variance analysis, aging reviews, and data consolidation for management decision-making
- Highlight operational risks, discrepancies, and delays proactively
3. Supervisory & Quality Control
- Act as checker for work prepared by junior team members
- Validate manual journal entries, data accuracy, and compliance with internal financial controls
- Provide guidance, training, and operational support to junior team members
4. Process Enhancement & Technology (AI / Automation)
- Participate in projects integrating AI, RPA, and system automation to optimize workflows
- Collaborate with technical teams to test, refine, and implement solutions
- Identify manual pain points and propose tech-driven process improvements
Requirement
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience across any core function
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; hands-on experience with Oracle is a plus
- Extensive background in operational workflows, standard procedures, and core industry tools required
- Executes routine tasks independently under minimal supervision
- Evaluates existing workflows, products, and services to recommend process improvements within established guidelines
- Offers assistance and operational guidance to junior team members
