Manages daily accounting and finance operations, month-end close, financial reporting, expense approvals, audits, tax matters, payroll cost review, risk assessments, and compliance. The role prepares management and financial risk reports, improves accounting procedures, coordinates investment valuation, supports K-SOX activities, and liaises with external auditors and the Suwon Office.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations and accounting functions of Finance and Accounts department to ensure smooth operation of the department.
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and prepare monthly management reports and ad hoc reports for submission to the management to facilitate management decision making.
- Assess current practices and procedures to make recommendations for improvements and perform self-audit checks.
- Review and approval of expense submissions and month end closing activities/accruals.
- Month-end closing activities to meet the tight deadlines.
- E-Voucher Promotion (i.e. Mastercard, Citibank, etc) process with Online Team.
- Monthly preparation of Financial Risk report to provide recommendations for improvements which align with Suwon Office reporting.
- Enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles to ensure compliance to accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform bank clearing and review of payroll cost for all business areas.
- Perform all expat and resignee benefit-in-kind for personal income tax submission.
- Perform GST related matters and withholding tax related task for overseas invoices.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.
- Perform risk management assessment for reporting to Suwon Office.
- Liaise with external auditor for Quarterly/Yearly audit and K-Sox related.
- Review and approval of expense submissions for certain business areas.
- Preparation and co-ordination of investment valuation by Suwon Office.
Skills and Qualifications
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6 - 8 years experience in Finance / Accounting with current / prior Big 4 experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP system.
- Strong attention to detail; meticulous with numbers and data.
- Resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.
