The Account Executive will drive new business through strategic channel partners, develop sales strategies, and maintain relationships with key enterprise customers in the APAC region.
DomainTools is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to support our APAC region. This role is pivotal in empowering our partners, executing on impactful marketing initiatives, strategizing for success, and driving net new business through our strategic channel partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security/channel sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Execution:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new enterprise customers by effectively articulating the value of our solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Take full ownership of leading strategic sales campaigns, sales forecasting, utilizing in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through procurement.
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and secure customers in our ICP.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand business needs and position our solutions accordingly.
- Work closely with GTM teams to optimize customer onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales engineers, to provide tailored customer-centric solutions.
- Build, nurture, and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal closure and achievement of targets.
- Travel as needed to meet with customers and attend key business events.
- Empower Our Partners:
- Educate partner executives, line-of-business owners, and sales teams on DomainTools' innovative products, programs, and campaigns.
- Ensure partners are equipped to succeed through comprehensive training and support.
- Execute Impactful Marketing Initiatives:
- Execute marketing activities to expand our reach and influence with customers and develop a strong sales pipeline.
- Execute on marketing campaigns that drive partner engagement and growth.
- Enhance Our Partner Program:
- Make insightful recommendations on program tools, incentives, and go-to-market strategies to strengthen channel partnerships.
- Drive partner development and management while establishing a strong channel system in target markets.
- Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities.
- Experience: 7+ years of field sales experience focusing on key customer accounts and channel partner relationships to Enterprise or Major-level accounts in the cybersecurity industry.
- Technical Expertise: Experience selling Threat Intelligence, SecOps SIEM or EDR solutions is highly preferred.
- Relationships: Established trusted relationships with CIOs and CISOs with the ability to influence and drive strategic conversations.
- Solution Sales: Expertise in applying complex solution sales methodologies to drive results.
- Channel Partners: Experience working with channel partners and a deep understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.
- Startup Environment: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment while collaborating effectively with sales engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Sales Motion: Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion within a matrixed sales organization is preferred.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as necessary to meet business needs.
- Language: Proficiency in an additional Asian language is preferred.
