Lead and execute internal audits across APAC, develop continuous monitoring and automated audit routines, build the internal audit team, deliver audit plans, report findings, and drive remediation with stakeholders using data-driven techniques.

Build and own scalable Cards API features for fintech partners, including onboarding, liquidity optimization, fraud prevention, and card analytics. Design resilient microservices, event-driven systems, databases, and APIs while ensuring reliability, security, observability, maintainability, and effective testing. Collaborate autonomously with product managers, analysts, and engineers to shape solutions, deliver projects end to end, measure outcomes, and guide technical roadmaps.

Lead regional payroll operations for APAC: manage payroll runs, serve as approval authority, oversee vendors and SLAs, ensure compliance, drive audits and risk mitigation, run root-cause analysis, and lead payroll projects while partnering with Tax, Finance, and People Operations.

Lead APAC correspondent banking sales for Wise Platform, build and manage a pipeline of regional banks, negotiate and close deals, define commercial propositions with product and marketing, and collaborate with compliance, legal, implementation and engineering to deliver crossborder payment solutions.

Lead technical execution for Wise’s iOS spending and card products across multiple product teams. Own initiatives from planning through shipping and scaling, build core flows such as card ordering, transactions, 3DS authentication, bill splitting, recurring payments, and dispute resolution, and promote maintainable code and mobile best practices. Collaborate with backend, frontend, product, and globally distributed engineering teams while using customer data to improve the experience.

Develop and maintain Wise’s Android card-spending product, including card ordering, transactions, 3DS authentication, and dispute resolution. Contribute to feature implementation, technical planning, scalable architecture, product evolution, and technical roadmaps. Collaborate with backend, frontend, product, and globally distributed engineering teams while advocating for mobile best practices and delivering high-performing customer experiences.

Investigate payment problems using SQL, Python, customer reports, and stakeholder input; identify root causes across payment flows; prioritize issues by impact; design practical solutions with Product, Engineering, Risk, Operations, and payment partners; lead actions through measurable outcomes; and improve investigation and measurement practices.

Analyze card fraud disputes, trends, datasets, and prevention-rule performance to identify fraud patterns and reduce losses. Develop, test, optimize, and monitor fraud rules using data and machine-learning risk signals while balancing customer experience, approval rates, and costs. Investigate incidents and emerging attacks, support dashboards and KPIs, collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations teams, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Lead a ~10-person analytics team for APAC, partnering with Product, Banking and Engineering to drive data-led product decisions, define KPIs, build measurement frameworks, coach analysts, and contribute to regional analytics strategy and planning.

Prepare and review indirect tax (VAT/GST) returns across APAC (Singapore, Australia and others), own regional reporting processes, ensure controls and reconciliations, support technical research and projects, liaise with external advisors and accounting stakeholders, and identify process improvements.

Lead APAC product compliance for financial crime by localising global controls, designing preventative product controls, testing rules, performing retrospectives, enabling commercial partners, and collaborating with Product and Engineering to remediate risks and embed market-specific regulatory requirements.

Supports the Head of Banking & Expansion APAC and senior APAC leaders by managing complex calendars, inboxes, meetings, travel, expenses, budgets, approvals, events, and leadership follow-ups. The role also oversees workstreams, improves administrative processes, handles sensitive information discreetly, coordinates vendors and logistics, and supports AI-driven ways of working and team culture.

Investigate and manage APAC arbitration cases, compile evidence, assess legally binding decisions, and represent Wise before external arbitration bodies. Monitor regional regulations, identify complaint root causes, and collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Product teams to improve policies and workflows. Maintain financial crime knowledge, meet regulatory deadlines and SLAs, protect Wise’s reputation, and advocate for fair customer outcomes while handling sensitive information securely.

Lead Wise’s APAC CRM strategy and execution across email, push, and in-app channels. Manage customer lifecycle communications, segmentation, campaign planning, localization, deliverability, database health, compliance, reporting, and A/B testing. Collaborate with Product, Marketing Technology, Creative, Engineering, Analytics, UX Research, and Product Marketing teams. Analyze campaign performance and optimize communications to improve customer engagement, retention, conversion, product adoption, and loyalty.

Supports People Operations across the APAC region, including onboarding, offboarding, work visa documentation, Workday updates, payroll support, benefits administration, employee queries, process documentation, and service desk management. Coordinates relocation logistics, onboarding sessions, equipment access, health checks, business trip tracking, and work pass renewals while contributing to local and global operational excellence projects.

Partner with APAC Compliance teams to deliver regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, risk analytics, and assurance reporting. Build scalable data models, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools while validating regulatory submissions and supporting automated monitoring. Maintain data quality, governance, and documentation, and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Engineering stakeholders. The role requires strong SQL and data modeling skills, with opportunities to use dbt, modern data warehouses, data engineering tools, and Python.

Support APAC safeguarding control framework across payments, e-money and investment business. Coordinate policies, attestations, first-line assurance, risk and controls matrix, MAS regulatory reporting, reconciliations escalations, incident linkage to control failures, and annual audit coordination. Work with controllers, product and engineering teams to ensure new product launches comply with safeguarding requirements and document controls within internal risk management software.
