Advances Wise’s government relations, public policy, and regulatory objectives across Southeast Asia. The role leads external advocacy, public campaigns, and engagement with policymakers, regulators, trade associations, and policy influencers, particularly in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. It supports leadership meetings, cross-functional initiatives, ESG compliance, and policy efforts related to direct payment-system access and foreign-exchange price transparency. Frequent regional travel is required.

Leads Wise’s APAC marketing strategy across multiple markets, managing Regional Marketing Leads and overseeing localized, full-funnel growth campaigns. Owns regional budgets, performance measurement, customer insights, agency relationships, and alignment with central marketing and product teams. Builds a high-performing team, develops market-growth playbooks, drives experimentation, ensures local compliance, and reports regional performance to senior leadership. The role also includes developing and delivering Australia’s regional strategy, campaigns, and creative assets.

Lead Wise Platform’s commercial growth across Southeast Asia by building and closing pipelines with banks, fintechs, and large enterprises. Own and enhance Wise Platform’s APAC financial crime product compliance framework. Assess regulatory and control risks, test financial crime rules, design systemic product controls, lead retrospectives, identify and remediate compliance gaps, localize global controls for APAC markets, and partner with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions.

Leads Central Payment Operations and its transition to a hybrid human-and-AI operating model. Owns operational outcomes including cost, resolution rates, defects, and losses; co-shapes product and engineering roadmaps; ships AI-assisted workflows; establishes evaluation and observability foundations; develops senior leaders; and represents the function across risk, compliance, analytics, quality, training, audit, and executive forums.

Coordinates strategic sales deals across Japan and Korea, managing timelines, stakeholders, workstreams, risks, and executive communications. Leads end-to-end RFP and RFI submissions by gathering, reviewing, and editing cross-functional inputs. Partner with APAC Compliance teams to deliver regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, risk analytics, and assurance reporting. Build scalable data models, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools while validating regulatory submissions and supporting automated monitoring.
