Requalify semiconductor manufacturing tools after maintenance, execute corrective and preventive action plans, document process incidents, report production-line health and performance metrics, own measurement tools or simple processes, and support process and operational improvement projects in a cleanroom environment.

Maintain, troubleshoot, qualify, and optimize plasma etch equipment in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, process and yield improvement, equipment installation and qualification, spare-parts tracking, documentation, safety compliance, and collaboration with process engineers and vendors. The role supports equipment uptime, OEE, defect reduction, PM compliance, and continuous improvement while handling vacuum, high-voltage, and hazardous-gas systems.

Provides specialized technical expertise for RITE equipment, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, diagnostic testing, configuration, maintenance, optimization, documentation, quality assurance, safety compliance, and training. Collaborates with equipment and process engineers to implement improvements, resolve failures, enhance efficiency, and maintain reliable operations.

Improves manufacturing workflows, ergonomics, equipment throughput, efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality, and delivery performance. Investigates scrap, nonconformities, process issues, and manpower inefficiencies; develops and follows up on countermeasures. Maintains production records, prepares shift and module performance reports, reviews event documentation, and supports standard operating procedures and quality management.

Lead semiconductor product industrialization, pilot-line transfers, new product introductions, incoming-material qualification, and prototype and high-volume manufacturing qualification. Coordinate with operations, product engineering, and R&D to introduce products into production. Analyze process data, lead improvement taskforces, manage control plans, specifications, workflows, BOMs, product cards, and process changes, and execute designed experiments and short-loop qualification activities.

Drives business development for Soitec’s RF-SOI business line by identifying and qualifying fabless semiconductor opportunities, mapping ecosystem stakeholders, building strategic partnerships, and converting prospects into foundry evaluations and design wins. Captures customer needs and market trends, coordinates with marketing and sales, monitors prototyping and qualification plans, and informs product and technology roadmaps. Requires regular international travel across Asia and the United States.
