As a Research Engineer, you'll work on building and improving a scalable search engine, focusing on crawling, parsing, ML performance, and retrieval algorithms.

Train and research transformer-based embedding models for web-scale search: design novel architectures, create large-scale datasets and evaluations, implement models and training pipelines (pretraining and fine-tuning), and improve internal state-of-the-art retrieval performance.

Owner of day-to-day people and workplace operations for Exa's Singapore office: onboarding, visas/work permits, benefits administration, office logistics, people data, vendor and payroll coordination, event support, and building scalable runbooks to improve employee experience.
