Lead the design, governance, implementation, and commercialization of Barclays Private Bank’s FX OTC Derivatives capability in Singapore. Serve as the FX subject matter expert and advise private banking clients on hedging, liquidity management, yield enhancement, pricing, execution, and trade lifecycle management across spot, forwards, swaps, options, and structured products. Partner with Trading, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Relationship Managers, and Sales to ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, improve processes, and support revenue growth.

Leads the end-to-end operating model for private bank equity and FX derivatives across business-as-usual and transformation activities. Oversees product governance, lifecycle management, pricing and valuation, risk controls, regulatory compliance, audit remediation, and operational resilience. Partners with Front Office, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to deliver platform enhancements, automation, regulatory programs, process improvements, and target operating models. Drives client experience, efficiency, risk reduction, and sustainable derivatives business growth.

Build and manage long-term relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors across Asia and Europe. Acquire clients, raise capital, grow assets under management, and deliver tailored cross-border investment solutions involving private markets, alternative investments, and multi-asset strategies. Partner with investment and advisory teams while managing credit, financial crime, operational, reputational, regulatory, and compliance risks. The role is regulated by Singapore’s Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Support development and delivery of internal audits across compliance and financial crime for APAC and Middle East. Perform risk assessments, test controls, analyse data, communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and monitor regulatory developments. Lead or coach team members, collaborate cross-functionally, and apply data analytics and emerging tools to improve audit quality.

Conducts KYC reviews and technical sign-off for Private Bank and Wealth Management client onboarding. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, coordinating with front-office, risk, business, and financial-crime teams, maintaining AML and regulatory compliance, resolving issues, improving procedures and controls, preparing performance reports, and supporting operational initiatives. The role also advises stakeholders, manages risks, and contributes to policy and governance improvements.

The role focuses on developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets while leading a large team and influencing strategic initiatives.
