Provides independent compliance oversight and risk-based challenge across APAC COO functions, including technology, cybersecurity, data, AI, business resilience, outsourcing, cloud services, market abuse, and financial crime. Advises stakeholders on regulatory obligations, reviews risk assessments and controls, supports regulatory inquiries and audits, investigates breaches, and contributes to major transformation and growth initiatives.

Build senior relationships with CEOs, CFOs, and treasurers; originate new business; deepen client wallet share; manage account plans and portfolios; coordinate product and geographic teams; and deliver integrated treasury, transaction banking, credit, lending, capital markets, and corporate sales solutions. The role also requires strong commercial judgment, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and transaction execution expertise.

Leads corporate banking coverage across Southeast Asia, managing relationships with large corporates, government-linked companies, listed enterprises, and private groups. Builds senior executive relationships, originates new business, develops account plans, and grows revenue across treasury, lending, trade, deposits, capital markets, and advisory products. Coordinates regional and product teams to deliver integrated solutions while managing credit, legal, regulatory, and operational risks.

Lead regional tax governance, risk management, compliance, and advisory activities across Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Taiwan, and other jurisdictions. Advise banking and private banking businesses on direct, indirect, and international tax matters, complex transactions, restructurings, and regulatory developments. Manage tax authorities, tax returns, accounting disclosures, controls, and strategies that mitigate financial and reputational risk.

Conduct macroeconomic and financial market research on Asian emerging-market currencies and rates, with emphasis on ASEAN economies. Develop investment views, forecasts, and actionable trade ideas; maintain analytical tools, databases, and quantitative models; prepare research publications and client materials; present insights to internal and external clients; collaborate with economists, strategists, Markets, Compliance, and other stakeholders while meeting risk, legal, regulatory, and MAS requirements.

Conducts KYC reviews and technical sign-off for Private Bank and Wealth Management client onboarding. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, coordinating with front-office, risk, business, and financial-crime teams, maintaining AML and regulatory compliance, resolving issues, improving procedures and controls, preparing performance reports, and supporting operational initiatives. The role also advises stakeholders, manages risks, and contributes to policy and governance improvements.

Leads the end-to-end operating model for private bank equity and FX derivatives across business-as-usual and transformation activities. Oversees product governance, lifecycle management, pricing and valuation, risk controls, regulatory compliance, audit remediation, and operational resilience. Partners with Front Office, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to deliver platform enhancements, automation, regulatory programs, process improvements, and target operating models. Drives client experience, efficiency, risk reduction, and sustainable derivatives business growth.

Build and manage long-term relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors across Asia and Europe. Acquire clients, raise capital, grow assets under management, and deliver tailored cross-border investment solutions involving private markets, alternative investments, and multi-asset strategies. Partner with investment and advisory teams while managing credit, financial crime, operational, reputational, regulatory, and compliance risks. The role is regulated by Singapore’s Monetary Authority of Singapore.

The role focuses on developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets while leading a large team and influencing strategic initiatives.
