Develops regional policies, governance, training, and wellbeing initiatives; manages investigations and industrial relations activities; assesses legal and regulatory risk; and uses ER metrics and trend analysis to improve processes, workplace culture, and decision-making.

Lead the design, governance, implementation, and commercialization of Barclays Private Bank’s FX OTC Derivatives capability in Singapore. Serve as the FX subject matter expert and advise private banking clients on hedging, liquidity management, yield enhancement, pricing, execution, and trade lifecycle management across spot, forwards, swaps, options, and structured products. Partner with Trading, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Relationship Managers, and Sales to ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, improve processes, and support revenue growth.

Develop analytics for audit testing, automate manual processes, translate audit requirements into use cases, and ensure data integrity and security. Act as a data analytics contact for audit teams, while coaching staff on SQL and Python. Lead Emerging Asia FX and rates strategy research, producing differentiated macroeconomic analysis, quantitative models, and actionable trade recommendations. Publish client-facing research, develop thematic views, engage institutional investors, and collaborate with economists, strategists, sales, and trading teams. Represent Barclays at meetings and industry events, strengthen the research franchise, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior colleagues.

Provides independent, data-led compliance oversight for Barclays’ Singapore Macro business across APAC. Reviews compliance risks, market abuse, financial crime, transactions, controls, regulatory obligations, and business initiatives. Advises stakeholders on conduct and regulatory matters, investigates breaches, supports monitoring and verification checks, contributes to policies and compliance plans, and collaborates with Markets, Legal, Risk, and control functions. Requires expertise in foreign exchange, rates products, market structure, and financial-services compliance.

Lead coverage for strategic Southeast Asian corporates and Singapore-based regional treasury centers. Build senior relationships with CEOs, CFOs, and treasurers; originate new business; deepen client wallet share; manage account plans and portfolios; coordinate product and geographic teams; and deliver integrated treasury, transaction banking, credit, lending, capital markets, and corporate sales solutions. The role also requires strong commercial judgment, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and transaction execution expertise.

Leads corporate banking coverage across Southeast Asia, managing relationships with large corporates, government-linked companies, listed enterprises, and private groups. Builds senior executive relationships, originates new business, develops account plans, and grows revenue across treasury, lending, trade, deposits, capital markets, and advisory products. Coordinates regional and product teams to deliver integrated solutions while managing credit, legal, regulatory, and operational risks.

Conduct macroeconomic and financial market research on Asian emerging-market currencies and rates, with emphasis on ASEAN economies. Develop investment views, forecasts, and actionable trade ideas; maintain analytical tools, databases, and quantitative models; prepare research publications and client materials; present insights to internal and external clients; collaborate with economists, strategists, Markets, Compliance, and other stakeholders while meeting risk, legal, regulatory, and MAS requirements.

Conducts KYC reviews and technical sign-off for Private Bank and Wealth Management client onboarding. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, coordinating with front-office, risk, business, and financial-crime teams, maintaining AML and regulatory compliance, resolving issues, improving procedures and controls, preparing performance reports, and supporting operational initiatives.
