Provides independent compliance oversight and risk-based challenge across APAC COO functions, including technology, cybersecurity, data, AI, business resilience, outsourcing, cloud services, market abuse, and financial crime. Advises stakeholders on regulatory obligations, reviews risk assessments and controls, supports regulatory inquiries and audits, investigates breaches, and contributes to major transformation and growth initiatives.

Manage compliance control room activities covering market abuse, conflicts of interest, information barriers, insider lists, watch lists, and restricted lists. Investigate control breaches, assess regulatory and reputational risks, implement corrective actions, maintain risk documentation, and advise business stakeholders. Support private-side and research compliance through issue reviews, verification checks, training, risk assessments, and challenge of business initiatives. The role also involves policy development, stakeholder influence, and potentially leading team members.

Lead coverage for strategic Southeast Asian corporates and Singapore-based regional treasury centers. Build senior relationships with CEOs, CFOs, and treasurers; originate new business; deepen client wallet share; manage account plans and portfolios; coordinate product and geographic teams; and deliver integrated treasury, transaction banking, credit, lending, capital markets, and corporate sales solutions. The role also requires strong commercial judgment, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and transaction execution expertise.
