The Workplace Operations team is responsible for supporting and scaling workplace programs, services, and capabilities. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Workplace Operations Manager to join our team and support our small but growing office in Singapore. As the Singapore Workplace Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining operational excellence. Our team will rely on your expert knowledge of regional and local cultural customs to shape the experience for employees and visitors in the Singapore office. You will be responsible for building out workplace operations programs in Singapore; collaborating with our global team; representing partner teams in the APAC region (security, IT & HR), and building and managing relationships with our key external workplace partners and vendors. You will also be providing the Managing Director, International on local executive support. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a visionary Workplace Operations Manager to lead and synchronize our workplace strategies across multiple locations within the region.

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with the workplace team to align and develop local and regional office operations within company-wide standards and practices.

  • Collaborate with the global real estate team on coordinating design and construction in your region.

  • Partner closely with IT, Corporate Security, HR, Recruiting, and other cross-functional teams to open facilities and manage workplace operations.

  • Build and maintain relationships with our landlord and other key stakeholders in real estate and construction management markets.

  • Help manage Health and Safety (EHS) in our Singapore office and guide APAC EHS.

  • Oversee workplace & facility vendor management to maintain an efficient and high-functioning office, including onboarding new joiners to the Singapore office, coordinating maintenance, supplies, and equipment to support day-to-day operations.

  • Plan and execute internal events and activities to foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture and exceptional employee experience.

  • Support our communication and events teams with external events in Singapore and APAC.

  • Manage local and regional workplace budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations.

  • Manage vendor access and performance, oversee food service quality, and act as the primary liaison between the food program team and local employees to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and address concerns.

You might thrive in this role if you:

  • Excellent communicator in both English and, preferably, a local language or dialect; extremely articulate and able to communicate nuanced concepts and processes to your English-speaking counterparts at HQ and around the globe.

  • Experience collaborating with Real Estate on office buildout projects or refreshes/improvements.

  • Knowledge of local facilities, human resource, and business operations regulatory requirements.

  • Proven experience as a Workplace Operations Manager or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and work autonomously in ambiguous environments.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with local Health & Safety requirements.

  • Experience with Workplace software such as G Såuite, ticketing systems, visitor management, and space planning software.

  • Experience managing budgets, expenses, and procurement workflows.
