Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership oversight across Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Open Account, Factoring and Bank Risk Trade Finance operations, ensuring consistent service quality, SLA adherence, and operational resilience.
Lead capacity planning and workforce optimization to support transaction growth without compromising risk controls or service standards.
Act as Deputy or representative to Group Head in operations governance forums / strategic initiatives taskforce
Ensure strong operational risk and control frameworks across trade finance processing, aligned with internal policies and regulatory expectations (including AML/CFT and audit requirements)
Authorize and oversee complex or high-risk trade transactions, ensuring compliance with SOP, Product paper, governing rules.
Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and issue remediation activities.
Provide operational advisory and governance support to regional subsidiaries, promoting consistency in processes, controls, and service standards.
Professional Experience
At least 15 years of experience in Trade Finance Operations within banking environment.
Proven experience at Vice President or equivalent management level, overseeing large-scale trade operations.
Strong hands-on exposure to FSCM, Open Account, Factoring products.
Demonstrated success in scaling operations to support significant portfolio and transaction growth.
Risk & Technical Expertise
Solid understanding of operational risk, AML/CFT, and audit requirements within trade finance.
Experience translating regulatory and risk requirements into practical operational processes and system design.
Transformation & Change Experience
Experience working closely with Technology, Product, and Business teams on system rollouts and process redesign.
Exposure to regional operations and cross-border processing models.
Certifications & Education
Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related discipline.
Leadership & Personal Attributes
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
Able to balance control integrity with business enablement in a fast-paced environment.
