Job Description

Job Summary**
United Overseas Bank Ltd. is seeking a Vice President - Talent Management to lead the strategic design and implementation of comprehensive talent management initiatives across the organization. This role will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture, attracting and retaining top talent, and developing future leaders.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute an integrated talent management strategy aligned with UOB's business objectives and long-term vision.
* Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
* Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify talent needs, assess organizational capabilities, and develop targeted talent solutions.
* Lead the development and implementation of robust performance management frameworks, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
* Design and manage effective succession planning processes to ensure a pipeline of qualified internal candidates for critical roles.
* Spearhead the creation and delivery of innovative leadership development programs for all levels, from emerging leaders to senior executives.
* Utilize data analytics and HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent programs, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
* Manage and mentor a team of talent management professionals, fostering their growth and development.
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in talent management to ensure UOB remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a dedicated talent management leadership role within a large, complex organization, preferably in the financial services industry.
* Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive talent management programs.
* Deep expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
* Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamics.
* Proficiency in HRIS and talent management software.
