Business Function

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services. 

The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer. 

Responsibilities

Reporting to Performance Management (PM) lead for Tech Finance, you will be responsible for driving the MIS reporting for Budget, Forecast, Actual related variance analysis and help bring business insights.

Closely partner with the PM lead in ensuring timely deliverables, quality assurance on the #s and commentaries are appropriate for purpose.

Also ensure deliverables to Group Finance teams on Technology related costs and reporting are completed with accuracy, in a timely manner.

Work with the PM lead on delivering additional reporting requirements, arising from organisation requirements from time to time.

You will utilize knowledge and experience in accounting and FP&A to come up with process assessments / improvements, analysis and presentations.

Requirements

Experience & Competencies

  • CA/CPA/ACCA qualified.

  • At least 10 years of experience in banking technology finance, including proven track record in managing FP&A activities covering budget/forecast cycles working with cross functional teams, helping structure business insights in variance analysis.

  • Possess strong understanding of IFRS and accounting, finance and technology processes across functions / departments in the bank.

  • Deeply data driven with the ability to work with large data.

  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment with transformation at the centre.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Highly proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Keen eye for detail, execute high quality, detailed and credible analyses.

  • Clearly articulate assumptions and underlying issues with well-thought-through reasoning.
