Role Overview
We are seeking an Analyst, DevOps Engineer to join the Service Management team. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong foundation in automation, software development, and AI driven development.
In this role, you will help modernize service management through engineering, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities. Partnering across operations and engineering teams, you will enhance platform reliability, reduce manual effort, and improve observability and operational governance.
Team Overview
The Service Management team within Mission Control is responsible for production stability, incident response, change execution, and operational governance across the Aladdin platform.
The team operates at the intersection of engineering and operations to:
Drive automation and operational efficiency
Improve service resilience and observability
Ensure controlled and compliant change execution
Enable scalable, AI-assisted service operations
This role offers exposure to large-scale production systems, modern DevOps practices, and AI-enabled operations, Microsoft Power Platform in a critical enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Engineering
Develop and maintain automation, tooling, and services to improve service management processes
Build scripts and applications for monitoring, alert handling, recovery actions, and reporting
Leverage APIs, infrastructure-as-code, and system integrations to enable scalable and repeatable workflows
Observability & Reliability
Improve monitoring, alert quality, and system observability across applications and platform services
Analyze recurring issues and operational trends to identify reliability and automation opportunities
Partner with operations and engineering teams to enhance service supportability and production readiness
AI & Innovation
Contribute to AI-enabled solutions such as:
Intelligent assistants and copilots
Automated runbooks and knowledge retrieval
Incident summarization and insights
Help drive adoption of AI tools to reduce operational toil and improve productivity
Governance & Controls
Operate within established change, risk, audit, and control frameworks
Ensure automation and tooling align with enterprise security and compliance standards
Support documentation, runbooks, and operational process improvements
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or similar field
Experience with Python or scripting for automation and system integration
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and distributed systems concepts
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
Understanding of monitoring and observability (metrics, logs, alerts, dashboards)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, or GitOps workflows
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
Exposure to Kubernetes, containers, or platform engineering concepts
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
Exposure to AI/ML concepts or generative AI applications
Knowledge of secure automation practices and enterprise controls
Experience in financial services or regulated environments
