Job Summary:
Seek a visionary and results-oriented Vice President of Engineering to lead and modernize our engineering organization. As a critical member of the leadership team, this role will be responsible for the strategic direction, execution, and delivery of our technology roadmap. This role will foster a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative engineering culture, ensuring the development of high-quality, scalable, and reliable products and platforms. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to align engineering efforts with the overall business objectives.
What you will be responsible for:
- Develop and articulate a clear and compelling engineering vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s product roadmap and business goals.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and trends to ensure our engineering practices and architecture remain cutting-edge and competitive.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products and features.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, efficiency and quality
- Ensure scalability, reliability, security and performance of our products and platforms
- Build, mentor and lead a world-class engineering organization, foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning
- Attract, recruit and retain top engineering talents.
- Participate in key architectural design and reviews.
- Build strong relationships with other stakeholders such as PM, QA, Security and business teams
- Establish and monitor key engineering metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
How you will stand out:
- Bachelor's or Masters' in Information Technology, Engineering or related
- Strong technical background and strategic engineering leadership experience
- Track record in delivering scalable, reliable, and secure products
- Experience managing full software development lifecycle
- Skilled in improving engineering processes and efficiency
- Data-driven; uses engineering metrics to guide improvements
- Hands-on with architecture and technical reviews
