Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President to contribute significantly to United Overseas Bank Ltd's strategic objectives and operational excellence. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in financial services.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage key business units or strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall vision and goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability within assigned areas.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, to achieve financial targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with business operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the bank in external forums, industry events, and client engagements as required.
  • Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams, managing complex projects, and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Deep understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business
