Job Description
Tax Risk Management- Drive the ongoing enhancement of the Bank’s Tax Risk Management Framework.
- Conduct tax risk identification, control design assessment, control testing, and validation activities.
- Manage tax-related issues, incidents, and remediation actions in collaboration with Non‑Financial Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, and Internal Audit.
- Ensure tax controls are effectively designed, embedded, and operationalised within business processes and systems.
- Partner with Business and Support Units to strengthen front‑to‑back tax processes and controls.
- Support the implementation of a bank‑wide FATCA/CRS attestation and control framework.
- Assess regulatory changes across all tax domains, analyse impacts to Business and Support Units, and identify required process or system enhancements.
- Validate business and system change requirements and support implementation to ensure compliance readiness.
- Coordinate communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management activities to operationalise new regulatory obligations.
- Contribute to FATCA/CRS change initiatives, including managing deliverables, tracking progress, and reviewing project artefacts.
- Prepare materials for PSC/PWG governance forums and provide tax advisory support to project teams.
- Support impact assessments, solution design, user readiness activities, and post‑implementation reviews.
- Support the design and delivery of technical tax training across all tax domains annually or ahead of project go‑live.
- Assist in developing tax guidance materials, process documentation, controls artefacts, and training tools to uplift organisational knowledge.
