As we continue to expand our global content portfolio, we’re seeking a VO Designer III (Contract) based in Singapore to support voice productions across Riot’s products and select partnerships.

The VO Designer III guides the creative, technical, and production processes required to deliver high-quality VO content for Riot experiences. This hands-on role supports a small team of voice designers, collaborates with cross-disciplinary partners, and ensures VO assets reinforce character identity, narrative clarity, and an exceptional player experience. This is a craft supervision role focused on voice design. 

Responsibilities:

Voice Design Creative Alignment

    • Support Audio leads on voice design productions by assisting with scoping, coordination, and execution across VO workflows.
    • Support established voice design direction by ensuring VO clarity, feasibility, and creative alignment across character, gameplay, and skin content.
    • Represent voice design in kickoff and alignment meetings, sharing relevant creative context and direction.
    • Provide clear, actionable feedback on VO work from internal and external partners.

Scoping, Production & Implementation Support

    • Assist in identifying VO opportunities, risks, and constraints, and align with Voice and Audio stakeholders on scope before production commitments.
    • Collaboration with Production & Craft leads to clarify requirements and voice design implications.
    • Support VO asset delivery, localization preparation, and technical implementation in Wwise and the game engine.
    • Help troubleshoot VO-related issues during integration and playtest cycles.

Vendor & Team Support

  • Support external or outsourced voice designers through day-to-day guidance and review.
  • Review vendor deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with voice design expectations.
  • Perform hands-on VO polish or support work when required.

Quality & Process 

  • Help uphold creative and technical quality standards for VO assets.
  • Validate technical specs and support in-engine verification.
  • Follow and support established VO workflows, documentation, and delivery practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience developing audio for games, including shipped titles.
  • Strong experience with voice-over production, processing tools, and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end game audio pipelines, including implementation and player experience considerations.
  • Hands-on experience with game engines and Wwise audio middleware.
  • Proficiency with standard audio creation tools (DAWs and common audio plug-ins).
  • Ability to provide clear direction and timely, actionable feedback.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly in English.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with League of Legends and its characters, products, and player community.
  • Experience mentoring or providing craft guidance to other designers.
  • Experience directing professional voice actors in recording sessions.
  • Familiarity with designing and maintaining dialogue systems and workflows within live-service development pipelines.
  • Experience with advanced or specialized audio tools (e.g., Reaktor, synthesizers, or audio scripting).
  • Familiarity with scripting or audio tooling (e.g., Lua or audio efficiency tools).
  • Wwise certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Mandarin language proficiency is a plus.

Employment Type: employment contract with Adecco, a professional personnel company in Singapore.
