About the School

The College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS), formerly known as the School of Computer Science and Engineering, is NTU Singapore’s newest academic college.

CCDS is a leading AI and computing institution known for its excellent curriculum, outstanding and impactful research, and world-renowned faculty. Our roots began in 1988 as a humble school offering an undergraduate degree in Computer Technology, the first of its kind in Singapore.

Today, we are ranked 2nd  for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 2nd for Computer Science by U.S. News & World Report Best Global Universities, 2024 ; 8th for Data Science and AI, and 9th for Computer Science and Information Systems by QS World University Rankings, 2024. Our flagship MSAI degree is recognised as world’s “Top 6 master’s degree programmes” by Techopedia, 2024; and DSAI is listed as “Top 10 Best AI and Data Science Undergraduate Courses” by Forbes, 2021.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in teaching and research activities in the School
• Jointly supervise graduate students
• Advise/mentor junior faculties

Requirements
Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• A relevant Ph.D. from a reputable University
• Excellent track record in publishing high-impact papers in top journals and conferences
• Sustained and auditable record of high-quality teaching and research
• Leadership impact of scholastic achievements
• High international standing and visibility in their field of research
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
