Working for Airbus in Singapore offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of this dynamic market and contribute to the success of a global leader in aerospace.

Your Role:

As a VIE Contract Operations Support, you will play a role in supporting our commercial activities in Asia Pacific. You will contribute to aircraft commercial campaigns, management of contractual processes, services debt management, and supporting aircraft deliveries. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry within a global organization and contribute directly to our success in a key market. Excellent English communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign & Contract Preparation:

  • Support the preparation of comprehensive documentation for new commercial campaigns and contract amendments, including historical data and pricing summaries.

  • Ensure timely and high-quality Business Control Summaries (BCS) that align with negotiation outcomes and input from Commercial and Commercial Operations teams.

  • Guarantee adherence to all relevant Airbus processes throughout the preparation and drafting of contractual documents.

  • Provide support to commercial colleagues on process requirements and best practices.

Negotiation Support:

  • Participate in campaigns, supporting the coordination and internal alignment across relevant departments.

  • Support negotiators in analysing elements of the transactions.

  • Participate in internal alignment meetings as required, contributing to successful outcomes.

Export Control & Compliance (E&C):

  • Closely monitor any credit arrangements requiring specific E&C review, with a focus on minimizing cash credits to buyers.

  • Ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) checks are completed before the signing of any transaction.

Services Debt Management

  • Support the services debt management team in analysing the current overdues.

  • Support the team to collect such overdue debts from APAC customers.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the Ho Contracts on special projects, which may include IT initiatives, commercial strategies, team development, presentations, drafting documents, and conducting research.

  • Contribute to the collection and maintenance of intelligence data on key competitors (Comac, Embraer and Boeing) within the Asia-Pacific market.

  • Actively contribute to fostering a positive and supportive team environment, promoting individual and team well-being, including by helping organising team events.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.

  • Prior experience in commercial operations, contract management, or the aerospace industry is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with CRM or other commercial management tools is an advantage.

  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and work in a dynamic international environment.

  • Interest in the Asia Pacific multicultural region.

What We Offer:

  • A unique opportunity to gain international work experience within Airbus, a leading aerospace company.

  • Exposure to the dynamic and growing APAC aviation market.

  • Hands-on experience in campaigns, contract management, credit management and delivery processes.

  • The opportunity to work within a multicultural and collaborative team in Singapore.

  • Opportunities for professional development and growth within Airbus.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
