We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Senior Business Analyst to function as a Subject Matter Expert for Trade and FX products within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office.

The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team that in charge of the Transaction Banking applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the business stakeholders to facilitate standardization of requirements to align with the application functions and minimize any customizations.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of traditional trade (import/ export), supply chain financing and foreign exchange functions in relation to transaction banking.
  • Work with the business to enable them to come up with the to-be processes that promote digitization and standardization of the product value proposition to our customers.
  • Provide the business users with global/ regional solutions based on the understanding of the trade and supply chain financing domain and the application landscape in the bank.
  • Good understanding of the configurations maintained in the applications and how they impact the system functionality across APAC.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge based on documents related to application features and processes (subject matter expertise)

Job Requirements:

  • Min 10 Years of experience as a business analyst specializing in implementation of trade (import/ export) and supply chain finance solutions in APAC for the transaction banking business.
  • Experience in a business analyst role in regional/ global system implementation for trade in other international banks and been part of the full lifecycle of the project from conception to post-production support.
  • Experience in working with the business to provide them with advisory on coming up with a to-be process and helping them to articulate their requirements clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide the business on how an application fulfils the requirement so that it can be used without customization.
  • Experience in working with the systems analysts, developers, testers to brief them on the business requirements and to validate if the provided solution is as per the expectations.
  • Provide guidance to the Testing CoE on test scenarios that fulfil the requirements.
  • Knowledge in managing the business for issues raised during testing phase to qualify as a defect or a change and attributing severity of the issue.
  • Excellent Knowledge of ISO20022 standard and SWIFT messages in the international and domestic trade domain.
  • Working knowledge of FX (Foreign exchange) functionality in relation to the transaction banking business.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory considerations in the countries in APAC region for payments is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player
  • Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and exposure to Agile methodology
