Job Responsibilities:            

  • Point of contact between stakeholders in Global Markets Planning division in Tokyo Head Office and AGMD
  • Support the development of the Global Markets Sales and Trading business strategies in Asia region
  • Plan and drive forward AGMD’s business strategy to achieve AGMD’s targets set by Tokyo Head Office
  • Promote collaboration with partner banks in Asia and MUFG group company to enhance Global Markets Business
  • Support business functions for achieving financial target of AGMD
  • Support risks control and address compliance related matters for Global Markets business in Asia region
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
  • To undertake any other assignment or projects as directed by Management or Head of Department.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum JLPT N1 Certification (or equivalent business-level Japanese proficiency) with demonstrated experience communicating with Japanese stakeholders and senior management, including acting as a key point of contact across Tokyo Head Office and APAC.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in banking and/or securities company
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Sales or Trading
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Planning or Business Management
  • Demonstrated skills and competencies in stakeholder management to collaborate with other departments including Head Office.
  • Proven strong communication skills with ability to influence others and embed frameworks, processes and recommendations. 
  • Demonstrated skills and competencies in People Performance Management
  • Proven knowledge of financial products, markets, regulatory developments and economic environment in the region
  • Degree qualified
