Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting management in setting up and stabilizing the newly formed Regional Credit Management function in Global Corporate and Investment Banking division
  • Providing governance support (e.g. Steering Committee, Operational Committee, running project governance forums etc.), monitoring project progress ensuring projects are on track to meet deliveries and deadlines
  • Coordinating and overseeing the execution of Strategic Project deliveries including, expansion of scope, KPI and SLA monitoring, productivity tracking, issue/ escalation management, resourcing etc.
  • Lead regional initiatives around credit processes standardization and enhancement, roll out/ implementation of credit systems in APAC, review of new credit systems, stakeholder feedback/ POC management etc.
  • Lead RCM function initiative on data improvements, accuracy, RWA remediation, resourcing, Country limit management and Credit examination recommendations etc.
  • Creating reporting and presentations to support updates and progress of Strategic Project deliveries and RCM initiatives
  • Drive decisions to ensure optimal solutions are based on both commercial and business requirements
  • Perform business analysis work such as gathering business requirements, providing analysis and verification of data, activity mapping, etc

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ work experience in strategic project management or regional function management in credit risk vertical
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in stakeholder management such as conflict resolution, consensus building skills, and an ability to build partnerships and influence beyond the immediate area of responsibility.
  • Good understanding of credit principles, Risk Weight Assets, Ratings, Credit Costs, Credit systems (financial spreading, credit write ups including AI, covenant management etc)
  • Experience in coordinating/ leading regional or global projects aimed at centralization, standardization and efficiency improvements.
  • Experience in driving process improvements by using tools such as process mapping and design, data analysis.
  • Experience in developing / implementing productivity tools, KPI and SLA monitoring.  
  • Strong problem solving skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills
  • Experience in managing multiple complex projects and competing priorities, completing milestones, and working toward multiple deadlines simultaneously across time zones.
  • You will be highly organised, with a structured and logical approach.
