VP APAC (Asia-Pacific)

You are an inspirational leader with excellent leadership skills and passion for developing both individuals and teams. You have a solid background working as a B2B leader with a track record of generating long term successful results through high performing teams. And this could be an opportunity for you! We are now looking for a VP APAC to be based in Singapore.

Who is your future team?

You will together with APAC Leadership team, 4 regional directors and 6 functional directors, lead the 300 strong APAC organization towards long-term profitable growth. As VP APAC you will be part of the global sales and marketing leadership team and report to the Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing- Peter Lindström. 

What you will do as VP APAC?

Together with the head regions’ leadership, you will take responsibility for our long-term financial result in APAC market, such as growth in revenue and market share, drive the strategic direction and support the cross functional cooperation within the head region as well as with our HQ, with focus on Axis’ best interests.

Your success is brought about by enabling a psychologically safe and fun workplace that allows employees to speak openly, work collaboratively and take care of their total wellbeing.

Creating a culture of success based on our core values will be an important role for the VP. This means living our core values by example, building and growing the teams and the direct reports in line with the company goals and objectives.

This role will work closely with both HQ and the teams around the head region which means that travel will be a natural part of the role.

You are skillful in making teamwork and collaboration essential tools for your success, and balance this with not being afraid of taking action. You have strong communications skills and gain respect and trust in the organization through your listening skills and understand that engaged employees and stakeholders is key to continuing our development as a company. With your business-oriented mindset, you have the ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities.

Business ethics, transparency and trust are three key words that are a natural part of your leader brand and comes easy for you to use and stand up for.

You are comfortable leading and anchoring complex questions and decisions with peers and other leaders. You are strongly driven by values, and by that being a bearer of our company culture as all of us at Axis Communications. Successful characteristics would be a strong ambition paired with a humble personality and high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

  • A commercial university degree or equivalent
  • 10-15 years’ experience in similar roles with direct sales responsibilities
  • A strong track record working in B2B sales
  • Experience in the security and/or IT industry. 
  • Proven success of working in a culturally highly diverse, fast paced and growing environment on a global level
  • Experiences from navigating/operating in a complex or large organization, with a successful cross functional approach
  • Successful experience developing go-to-market strategies across multiple markets
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with a two-tier go-to-market model

Additional Advantages:

  • Good understanding of APAC markets
  • Successfully leading change processes within own organization
