Job DescriptionRole: - VBScript developer
Key Responsibility
· Understand application production support processes
· Review, discuss and design scripts to convert manual to automated processes.
· Unit testing
· Adherence to quality guidelines and maintain coding standards compliance
· Meet expected release timelines
· Desired Skill
· 3-5 years’ experience in VB scripting and batch scheduling via TWS,Autosys or any other scheduling tool
· Experience in Python Scripting, PowerShell scripting is desired but not mandatory.
· Should have experience in Developing applications on a Unix and Windows environment
· Prior experience of automation scripting is required.
· The candidate should possess a strong analytical mindset and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Proficiency in Database and SQL, preferably in an Oracle/Sybase environment.
· Proficiency in UNIX system commands and Shell scripting, preferably in a Solaris environment.
· Good communication skills
